The "Owner" takes your privacy
seriously. Please read the following to learn more about the Privacy Policy. Different
areas of the "Collective Works" are subject to different privacy policies. To

Privacy Policy Covering Children
- The Privacy Policy regarding children is that
children are discourage from active participation in areas of the "Collective
Works", where user information is gathered. Though children may use the many
resources at the "Collective Works", personally identifiable information about
children is not gathered or used in anyway.
- In the forums the
"Owner" does not allow registrations from anyone under the age of 13. If you are
under 13 years old, you are invited to read the forums as much as you want. However,
children are not offered the right to post in the forums, as that would involve asking you
for information that violates United States law. If you do register, you are representing
that you are 13 years of age or older.
What this Privacy Policy Covers
- This Privacy Policy covers the "Collective
Works" and the products and services it provides. This Policy explains the treatment
of personally identifiable information that is gathered on the "Collective
Works". It also covers products purchased, and services used while you are using the
"Collective Works". This policy also covers the treatment of any personally
identifiable information that the "Owner" shares with others. Specifically, the
"Owner" does not share information with persons or corporations that function
outside the maintenance of the "Collective Works", except information necessary
to process service and product orders.
- This policy does not apply to the practices of
companies and others that the "Owner" does not own or control, or to people that
the "Owner" does not employ or manage.
Information Collection and Use
- The "Owner" collects personally
identifiable information when you register for an account at the "Collective
Works", when you use certain products or services from the "Collective
Works", when you visit pages on the "Collective Works", and when you send
e-mail, request information or sign up for notification. The "Owner" may also
receive personally identifiable information from various sites and resources available on
the Internet.
- Once you register on the "Collective
Works" and sign in to the services, you are not anonymous.
- The "Owner" also automatically receives
and records information on the server logs from your browser including your IP
address, cookie information and the page you requested.
- The "Owner" uses information for three
general purposes: to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, to answer
your e-mails and to contact you about updates to the "Collective Works" at your
request.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
- The "Owner" will not sell, rent or give
your personally identifiable information to anyone. Persons involved in the maintenance of
the "Collective Works" have occasional access to such information, of which they
are not allowed to use outside the maintenance of the "Collective Works".
- The "Owner" may send personally
identifiable information about you to others when:
- The "Owner" has your consent to share
the information;
- The "Owner" needs to share your
information to provide the product or service you have requested;
- The "Owner" responds to subpoenas, court
orders or legal process; or
- The "Owner" finds that your actions on
the "Collective Works" violate the Visitor Agreement, or any of the usage
guidelines for specific products or services.

Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account

Security
- Your Account Information is password-protected for

- In certain areas the "Collective Works"
may use industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
- The "Owner" may amend this policy from
time to time. If any substantial changes are made in the way your personal information is
used, you will be notified by a prominent posting of an announcement on the main index
page.
Account Information
- When you register with the "Collective Works" or submit information to the
"Collective Works", a temporary copy of that information is routinely made to
prevent accidental loss of your information through a computer malfunction or human error.
- The "Owner" keeps your account information active in the user registration
databases in order to provide immediate access to your personalization preferences each
time you visit.
- If you ask the "Owner" to delete your account, in most cases your account will
be deactivated and then deleted from the user registration database in approximately 90
days. This delay is necessary to discourage users from engaging in fraudulent activity.
- Please note that any information that is copied may remain in back-up storage for some
period of time after your deletion request. This may be the case even though no
information about your account remains in the active user databases.
Servers
- The "Collective Works" computers (called "servers"), that send the
web pages, process and store an enormous amount of information every day. These computer
records are called "log files."
- Log files are used for analysis, research, auditing, and other purposes, as described
above. After this information has been used, it is stored and is inaccessible. Until the
information is stored, your User ID and IP address may remain in the active server log
files.
Cookies
A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique
identifier, that is sent to your browser from a web site's computers and stored on your
computer's hard drive.
Each site can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser's preferences allow
it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a site to access the cookies
it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites.

- You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or notify you
when a cookie is set. (Each browser is different, so check the "Help" menu of

Directory and Search
The "Collective Works" directories and searchengines help you find what you
are looking for. The "Collective Works" directories and searchengines do not
require you to be a registered user in order to search the "Collective Works"
directories and searchengines.
Information Collection and Use Practices
Searching the Directory
- When visitors conduct a search on the "Collective Works", things tracked
include which search terms are popular and other statistical information about search.
Submit a Site
- If you submit a site to be considered for inclusion in one of the "Collective
Works" Directories, you are asked for some information about the site, your name and
email address, and information relevant to your site, and any comments you feel may be
helpful in evaluating your site.
- Your e-mail address is used to notify you about whether your site has been included, and
you may be contacted in the future, if there are questions about your site.
Practices Regarding Your Ability to Update or Delete Information
- To suggest changes to your listing in one of the directories, or to edit the email
address associated with your listing, fill out a Change URL form located at the directory.
- If you wish to have your site information or personal information deleted, you may request deletion of your URL and account
information by e-mailing your Site ID Number and e-mail address to:

Please put "Account Removal" as the subject, and place the other information as
the body. Your e-mail address will be verified with the one that is on the account, and
then you will be e-mailed requesting confirmation. After confirmation has been received
from the e-mail address owner, your listing on the directory will be deleted. Please allow
90 days for the Website pages to be re-built, and your listing to be removed from the
directory.
Forums
In order to post a message to the "Collective Works" Forums, you must
register for an account at that particular Forum. On public Forums you do not need to
register in order to browse or read others' posts. On private Forums restrictions may
apply to your access of the Forums.
Information Collection and Use Practices
- The "Collective Works" have different areas which have different Forums and
user accounts that ask for differing information. Each Forum or user account provides a
different service, and requires different information from the user. See each particular
Forum or user account to see what information is required and which is optional, and for
its different uses on the "Collective Works". What information is gathered and
required can be found on the account form where the information is filled in by the user.
Information Sharing and Disclosure Practices
- When you post a message, your User ID or alias that you are posting under is visible to
other users. An alias consists of a name and some information that you show in a profile
to others.
- When you post a message on a Forum within the Network of "Collective Works",
you have the ability to post a message which may include personally identifiable
information about yourself on a public forum.
- If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may
receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.
- The "Owner" takes user privacy very seriously and makes reasonable efforts to
protect your privacy. However, The "Owner" may disclose personally identifiable
information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your
actions violate the Visitor Agreement or Forum Rules.
Practices Regarding Your Ability to Update or Delete Information
- You are given the options of editing or deleting your message by clicking on the
"edit button" and deleting the text and resaving the message. Other forums might
also include a "delete button" to delete the entire post. You may also edit your
post at any time using the "edit button." This allows you to make any necessary
