About Xiao Hong
Xiao Hong, born Zhang Naiying and formerly known as Zhang Xiuhuan, was a prominent Chinese novelist, essayist, and poet of the Republican era. Hailing from Hulan, Heilongjiang, she is widely celebrated as one of the most significant female writers in modern Chinese literature, often referred to by critics as the "Goddess of Literature" of the 1930s.
