"The Memoirs of Jacques Casanova de Seingalt, 1725-1798. Volume 25: Russia and…" is part of an 18th-century memoir written in French by Venetian adventurer Giacomo Casanova. This volume continues Casanova's legendary account of his life and travels across Europe. Originally written between 1789 and 1798, the complete manuscript spans twelve volumes and 3,500 pages, though it remained unpublished until after his death. For over a century, only heavily censored and mistranslated versions existed until the original French manuscript was finally published in its unexpurgated form in the 1960s.
